I’m a mum of two. I’ve worked in the NHS for 20 years as a registered nurse, specialising in critical care for adults and children before returning to University to become a health visitor, delivering positive health messages to vulnerable families in some of the most deprived areas. I now work with vulnerable adults and children with acquired brain injuries. This experience has made me passionate about health and social care in my local community.

In my spare time I enjoy lots of activities and I am a Widnes Viking’s fan. I’m heavily involved as a volunteer with a local community Rugby League Club.
