Work has started on a Remembrance Garden on Ditchfield Road. This space was identified by local residents as a place of historic note that had previously been designated as a remembrance space for fallen soldiers. This was brought to the attention of Ward Councillors, Cllrs Laura Bevan, Louise Goodall and Tony McDermott. Following a successful bid for external funding and with consultation of local residents a new garden design has been developed that will celebrate the local history of the area and provide a space for local residents to pay their respects to fallen soldiers from the locality.
