I am standing because I love our area, and believe local people deserve the very best. If elected, I will work hard for you to represent your interests and priorities.
What I stand for
As your candidate for Farnworth, I care deeply about our area and the issues that affect residents every day. While other parties focus on national issues or culture wars, my main priority is working with local people to get things done for our community.
If you elect me, I will:
– 🧹 Fight for clean streets across Halton by focusing on enforcement on litter and fly tipping,
– 💻 Back digital improvements to ensure that Council services are effective and efficient to access for residents,
– 🛡 Protect frontline services that support you,
– 🏗️ Support the proposals to regenerate Widnes Town Centre, under Labour’s Pride in Place funding that has been obtained for it,
– 🛍 Back local and small businesses and work to make Farnworth and Widnes a great place for them to operate,
– 🚗 Oppose any efforts to remove or water down free parking in Widnes, which is pivotal to local shops and businesses,
– 🌳 Protect and improve our local parks, sports facilities and green spaces to allow them to serve the local community.
