Councillors in the Grange Ward have launched a fresh programme of “street surgeries” to meet with local residents about their local issues and concerns.

Cllr John Abbott said, “We started these in 2016 and they continue to a popular means of meeting with local people.  On one Saturday morning most months, we meet outside the shops on Grangeway as is a busy throughfare for local people, and many residents take change to speak with us about their local issues or concerns. Over the years hundreds of local people have met Councillors face-to-face in this way.”

Labour’s popular street surgeries are provide an added means for us listening to residents about their concerns and hopefully offer advice and support but Councillors are also available to receive phone calls and emails.
