Peter is currently the Consort to the Mayor of Halton and he was himself the Mayor in 2025/06. He is married with grown up children and has lived in Runcorn for nearly 30 years.  Peter is a retired Lawyer and enjoyed a distinguished legal career representing people in your community. He has an in-depth knowledge of public services having served on the former Cheshire County Council, Cheshire Police Authority and the Governing Board of Warrington & Halton Hospitals. He was also formerly a Non-Executive Director on two NHS Trusts and a Trustee of Halton Citizens Advice Bureau. Peter has been a governor of several schools and is currently a governor of two local schools. He is therefore well equipped to take up issues on behalf of Norton North residents and campaigning to protect public services.
