Mark has represented the Grange Ward for 21 years and established a strong reputation as someone that works hard for local residents. He is married with a son and works as a Local Government Officer. 

Mark is on the Council’s Executive Board, leading on the Council’s finances, and prior to this he was the Mayor of Halton in 2022/23. He is a long-established Governor of local schools in Runcorn, including Halton Lodge Primary School and was a former Director of Halton Housing Trust.

Mark serves as the Chair of Trustees of the local charity Halton Play Council that delivers a range of services for young people and families in Halton. Given his breadth of skills and experience, Mark remains a strong advocate for people in the Grange Ward.
