Cllr Irene Bramwell
Councillor for Norton North
Irene has been a Councillor for the Norton North ward for 5 years, and she lives in Windmill Hill.
As a local resident in the ward she represents she is well known in the community and well respected for the work she puts into promoting the interests of Norton North.
Irene is Social Work trained having been awarded a Diploma in Social Work and a Degree in Community Studies and has spent the last 15 years working with the statutory and voluntary sector.
Irene has tirelessly been fighting for Halton Residents, campaigning for good quality NHS services to be free at the point of use. As a Councillor she serves on two of the Council’s important Policy and Performance Boards. She is currently a member of the LCR (Liverpool City Region) Overview and Scrutiny Committee where she represents the Council. Irene has worked in partnership with residents, Onward Housing Managers and Officers to successfully see the re-opening of Priory View House. She is a well-connected, active member of the community, and continues to bring a wealth of community knowledge and experience.
