Stef is widely known by residents in the Bridgewater ward as he is also a local resident. He has been a Councillor for the community he served for over 25 years. Stef has fulfilled senior roles on the Council and he is the Chairman of the Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service, having served on the authority for many years. Stef was previously the longstanding Chair of Governors at the Grange Academy and remains very proud of the role he played in helping to secure the future of the school under a previous Labour Government’s ‘Building Schools for the Future’ programme. He has established a strong reputation as someone that works hard for local residents across the ward, tackling environmental issues and housing issues with Riverside and other social landlords.
