John has been a social worker for over 27 years and currently works locally with people with disabilities and mental health challenges. He is currently Vice Chair of the Council’s Regulatory Committee and is actively involved with local taxi and bus operators to ensure people with disabilities have equal access to local transport. He is also currently a member of the LCR (Liverpool City Region) Transport Committee.
John prides himself on being a strong advocate for residents in the Grange Ward, helping residents with housing, social wellbeing and anti-social behaviour issues. Away from work, John enjoys swimming, walking, has an interest in local history and is a Trustee of Norton Priory Museum and Gardens.
